The 4x2 model will start at $30,995. Allpar is reporting it will come with a six speed automatic? I feel this might be a typo

http://www.allpar.com/news/index.php...riced-released

"The new 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, with a new, upscale interior, advanced four wheel drive system, 290-horsepower Pentastar V6, six-speed automatic, and numerous standard features"

So does this mean the Hemi is standard on the Limited? For some reason I thought I had read somewhere it was going to be an option...

From Inside Line:

2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Gets Price Cut

Published May 12, 2010

Just the Facts:
  • 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee will start at $30,995 for the base Laredo 2WD model.
  • That is a $495 price cut from the 2010 model.
  • The redesigned Jeep will come in three models: Laredo, Limited and Overland.
AUBURN HILLS, Michigan The redesigned 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee will start at $30,995, including a $780 destination charge, when it arrives in showrooms in June. The pricing reflects a $495 reduction from the outgoing Grand Cherokee.
The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 starts at $32,995, including shipping and also gets a price cut versus the outgoing model. The 2010 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 starts at $33,460, including shipping.
This is the first pricing announcement in what is shaping up to be a battle between the new Grand Cherokee and the redesigned Ford Explorer. It is unknown just how Ford will price the redesigned Explorer which may be a 2011 or a 2012 model when it debuts later this year. The Explorer is one of the Grand Cherokee's chief domestic competitors. The base 2010 Explorer XLT with four-wheel drive starts at $32,415, including an $815 destination charge.
Chrysler said the 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee will be available in three models: Laredo, Limited and Overland. The Overland model was eliminated from the Grand Cherokee lineup in 2010 but is making a reappearance.
The 2011 Grand Cherokee Limited two-wheel-drive model starts at $37,495, including shipping. The 2011 Grand Cherokee Overland two-wheel-drive model starts at $39,495, including shipping.
The 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4 starts at $39,995, including shipping. The top-of-the-line 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4x4 starts at $42,995, including shipping.
Missing from the pricing information is a Grand Cherokee SRT8 model, which was part of the 2010 lineup as the top-of-the-line model. The Internet has been buzzing with speculation that a 2011 SRT8 could debut later this year. "No announcements about the SRT8 at this time," said Todd Goyer, Chrysler spokesman, in a phone conversation with Inside Line on Wednesday afternoon.
The base 2011 Grand Cherokee Laredo includes these standard features: a new 290-horsepower 3.6-liter V6, electronic stability control, hill-start assist, side curtain airbags, power eight-way driver seat, a leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls and 17-inch aluminum wheels. Options include a 360-hp 5.7-liter V8 and a trailer tow group.
Inside Line says: Chrysler aggressively prices its redesigned Grand Cherokee. Will Ford take the bait as it readies the new Explorer? Anita Lienert, Correspondent
