What's the difference between sports mode selection via the shifter and selecting sports via the selec trac knob ?

Louder (depends on where u r in the motor wind up/down) since rpm's are higher in sport.

Also, the Sport Selec-Track button sets the active suspension to a firmer mode for less body roll, more responsiveness. Play with it in an open parking lot, sweeping 180's, on/off ramps, etc....it's pretty fun playing "corvette" with Sport (Selec-Track) mode with the G-Meter showing despite it's lag.

The control knob changes the front back torque split and puts the transmission into sport mode. If you use only the gear selector it only puts the transmission into sport mode and leaves the torque split alone. If you use the control knob first then gear selector, you can will take the transmission out of sport mode and back to auto, but leave the torque split. As for exhaust note, from my opinion it doesn't change except the obvious differences from the more aggressive shifting.
