Sorry to post this, please dont flame me : (

Ok so I am trying to find an OEM replacement air filter for a 4.7 engine. I went to autopartswarehouse and they had a couple different sizes....which one do I need? Im looking to only spend tops $30 so if anyone has any filter recommendation that would be great!

This is for my gf's moms wk so she does not want a lifetime filter but for the gf I will be getting an AFE pro dry s :)

Thanks in advance for the help!

Ok so since we are on the topic of me not being productive and searching...where are some threads or stickys for brake fluid and power steering fluids changes? And what specs or brands and names of fluids do I need for the changes?

Thanks ahead of time :)

Well I thought about it but since I was looking online they showed 3 different sizes for that engine so thats what puzzled me. Would going to autozone bring the same question to me...what size filter?

Im sorry for the stupid questions.

^ thank you. Ya they wanted to charge her around $250 for the filter, brake and steering changes. There is no way I am going to let her pay that much for, what seems to me, simple changes. I have done these on my truck but am not all that familiar with a Jeep. Ill do some research but if there is some sticky or anything helpful please post a link!

Much appreciated!

What year is the truck? I'm sure I can find that filter in about 5 minutes for under $10.

Okay, I was close, took 3 minutes. $10.99 for an STP or Fram at AutoZone. SA8817 for the STP, CA8817 for the Fram. K&N is $50 (33-2233), Spectre is $25 (88-8817).
