Need help JG!!! CEL AND CODES

So my CEL came on today and i'm really glad it did cause my gears are totally F***ed up... some thing is really F***ed up on my jeep

at 35 and off the gas it changes gears multiple times and gives me werid rpm numbers and a major kick in the car while driving...

even at high speeds the gears change then go back

the jeep is so F***ed!

wondering if you had any advice or input before i take it to the dealership

I Tried this:

Turn the ignition key until the digital odometer displays, repeat three times in succession and then back to "On" (On/Off, On/Off, On/Off, On). At the fourth "On" the odometer will be replaced with codes. If no codes are present then "Done" will appear.

but nothing happened, what would the next steps be?
