Replacing REC Head Unit with an Android Tablet

I am looking into replacing my REC head unit with an Android tablet and I'm not familiar with car audio at all so I have a few questions.

1. The set of wires that plug into the REC system. They're...

Drove it this morning and the CEL was off. Drove 100KM with 6 key cycles throughout the day and had no other issues with it.

When it was at the dealership the other day, I had them looking at my...

Any issues come up with this? I just had this happen to me yesterday, same 3 codes. Jeep drove fine this morning and the CEL was off. The only difference is, instead of a hard acceleration, I went...

Re: One problem fixed, a lot? more appear... U110A, U0114 & U1411

Possibly, but how does a bad battery cause a grinding noise and no resistance on a brake pedal for half a second?

One problem fixed, a lot? more appear... U110A, U0114 & U1411

So the other day my Jeep wouldn't start at all. Took it to the dealer and they cleaned some dirty/corroded cables going to my starter, re-seated the battery and tightened the negative terminal.

Re: What are people paying for JC SRT8's?

Just priced one out on Jeep.com. $65,225 with Audio, Lux Group II, 3 Season Tires, Rear DVD.

Priced on Jeep.ca. $65,180, same features... Since when is it cheaper, or even close to the same price,...

Re: started with some mods today

I'll have to give the top area another spray and remember to take it off right away next time. My mistake was probably doing all 4 at the same time and waiting too long to remove the tape.

Man your C-Pillars came out so much cleaner at the top than mine did. What kind of tape did you use and how long did you wait before removing it?

Re: Plasti Dip ENTIRE WK?

There is a "Clear" plasti dip that might take away some of the matte look and give it a little bit of a glossy look. I'm going to see if I can find some in my city tomorrow and give it a try.

My chipped WK 06 can drop to 10 L/100KM (23.5mpg) while doing highway driving. Is my chip improving the fuel economy that much, or does the WK2's extra weight and HP make the difference?
