Re: Text messaging on Android phone

Text doesn't work with the 730 radios (2011-2013 Overland). Only started working with the 2014, and (of all things) the "lower" model 420 from 2011-2013 after a firmware update last year.

Re: Installed Camera and Back Up sensors but lost UConnect

IIRC, the mic for the UConnect is in the mirror. Are they telling you the mirror with monitor doesn't have the mic built-in? Do you have a link to the mirror they installed, so others can check the...

There is another thread around here somewhere covering that model (Appradio). Can't look now, but I may search later if it hasn't turned-up.

Re: 14' Summit new tires and tow hooks

Looks good. How about heat-welding a bit of matching plastic "bead" at the cut edges in an attempt to make it look "factory"? Is this the next after-market grill-insert option: "2014 Summit...

Re: Running boards

Looking at getting these. Any wind-noise at highway speed? I have no experience with running-boards, as this is my first vehicle with this amount of ground-clearance.

Re: Replaced my 2014 Overland Dash Speaker

"Bass Blockers" are high-pass X-overs (at the simplest, a capacitor) to reduce the amount of low-frequency signal getting to the speaker. Small drivers like these 3" speakers just can't handle the...
