Re: Extremely Pissed. Traction/stability control in snow.

I tried this in my 2013 last night, traction controll off, sport mode, and full throttle whipping around in a circle. I tried it many times with great success. It still wants to help you regain...

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee 4x4 in the snow

It could possibly be true what he said. I'm all for driving based on conditions but so many idiots drive way to slow because they don't prepare their car for winter travel. You don't need to go 90mph...

Re: Suspension Lift Kit - WK2 4x4 Quadra-lift

Not what I would call a lift kit, they just fool the computer to raise the suspension. Your giving away all your down travel doing so, giving a bad ride and no flex.

Re: **NEW**4.8 V8 Pentastar based engine for next gen WK(2015-16)?

I like the pushrods motors and hope they stay around for a long time. GM has proven they are a still an excellent power platform that has both power and economy.

Re: help on how to proceed with damage from known recall

I wouldn't let the vehicle out of my possession until your insurance company looks at it, in case it's the dealers fault.

Re: Driveway-rated ?

Like said tires make a huge difference. I got the jeep stuck last week on an unplowed road, I tried rocking it but nothing, then I just mashed the gas and it reved up for a second then traction...

Re: Hood Damaged While Shipping Jeep

I only ask because the hood on my 13 is rust bubbling from underneath where the skin is folded over the shell. The seam sealer is all bubbling off as well.
I'm going to check it today with a magnet.

Re: Icon Dynamics 2.5" Coilover kit

The added cost is in the shocks, for a street truck or even a mild off roader its probably not needed. Maybe if you were into high speed washboard type roads you would see the difference in shock...

Re: Anti freeze smell

You can see it from under the jeep through the opening in the splash shield. You will see dried up coolant if it's been leaking.

Re: What Genius Engineer @ jeep decide to cut 1" off the length of the receiver tube?

Crash standards are likely the blame here for keeping the hitch tucked in as far as possible. The rattle is more than likely from poor tolerances in manufacturing.

Re: WK2 Lower Front Guard

Any way to make the front sensor fit better vs the boxy add on? It just looks prime to catch on anything and everything if you were to really need the max approach angle.

Re: Here's a new one: water coming in from the B pillar.

Remove the headliner and use a hose on the outside on low to pin point the problem.
This will cause health issues as well once this turns to mold, and it will.

Maybe if you recoils were on the way out this May add 18 hp but I doubt just swapping out coil packs without changing the fuel rate would give you much gains.

Re: Airaid vs K&N CAI - Is there a clear winner?

You guys realize heat soak is not much of an issue unless your doing a track day and bracket racing. Once your moving within a minute or two the intake temps in the duct will be close to ambient...

Re: Mod Suggestions...? Will these do the trick?

Your best bet would be a custom engine tune. All the add ons your talking about there won't be as good as a custom tune.
