64K service.

So my local dealer wants $2300 for this service, admittedly about $1100 is for brake pads and rotors. So what's the remaining $1200 for --

$400 for spark plugs
Oil and filter change
New air...

Re: Question on towing Jeep behind motor home

I leave my quadra lift in the normal ride height.

No need to leave the fob in the car or the ignition since the steering wheel doesn't lock. I take the fob with me and lock the doors. Ignition...

Re: Question on towing Jeep behind motor home

1. The requirement to disconnect the battery cable appears in the long version of the OM, it doesn't appear in the quick reference guide. That said I don't disconnect the negative cable with I tow...

Downloaded the ISO file from the link provided, burned to CD and updated the radio just fine.

Re: Ipod in center arm rest note working?

Re: Oil change at 3,500 miles??

Like others here mine called for the first O/C at 3500, the dealer said it was based on how i drive--sounds more like it was programmed that way.

Re: Ipod in center arm rest note working?

My Ipod won't work from the center armrest--dealer said the upcoming update for the 430n would fix it. Interestingly it will charge the Ipod--just won't recognize it as a music source.

Re: Oil Change at 3500 mi---What the h$%&

Well I have freebie oil change coupon with the dealer so I'll go ahead and get it changed. Hopefully, it won't call for another change in 3500 miles--with modern oils that's just a waste.

Oil Change at 3500 mi---What the h$%&

Okay, my EVIC tells me that an oil change is due--GC is a little over 2 months old with 3500 miles, well below the 8000 mile change interval in the OM. Oil looks pretty good, still a nice caramel...

Re: Poor dealership experience? This is the place!

These guys were terrible, salesman (different from the one cited above) very condescending. Continued calling after I purchased from another dealer.

I'd have to say I was originally a bit dubious of the value of the ACC package-now that I have it I wouldn't order another without it.
