Re: Ouch! Starter motor will not disengage.

My 3.6l and my old man's srt have done this crazy cranking thing on a couple of occasions but not recently, I can only assume a software update resolved it along the way. I don't know if it's...

Re: No tow hooks? Front Recovery Soluition help

Hey Ross, I've got an ironman 8t strap and It's tight but fits well. I find the best strategy is to just push it as far in as you can and then sideways. I've attached a few photos for comparisons...

Re: No tow hooks? Front Recovery Soluition help

I think we probably get the euro models because of the RHD issue, I guess they didn't want to have to re-tool to make two different versions of the RHD and we were just the innocent bystanders.

Re: No tow hooks? Front Recovery Soluition help

I don't think it's an ADR thing, I believe it's a Euro thing and our Aussie Jeeps come via that channel so we inherited their issues. They couldn't retrofit the old hooks because they had changed the...

Re: No tow hooks? Front Recovery Soluition help

Yep, the cover still goes on and off as per normal. I found I had to use a small thin screw driver to pop it off as I couldn't get a good enough hold of the fins use them.

Re: 17000 Km's and need new tyres already wtf?

I love my Coopers A/T3's and they come with a 60k warranty - not sure what happens if wear out in under 60k but I still find it comforting to know that they stand behind their product.

Re: Most expensive developed word country to buy a Jeep Grand Cherokee

I'm pretty sure that the Grand Cherokee would incur 5% import Duty and 10% GST, so looking at the Laredo example this brings the price up to $41,739. On top of this a retail price (though I'm sure...
