The lock will unlock with the keyfob but will not lock except with the key.

I was told that the 99 - 00 had a 16 tooth and the 01-04 had a 32 tooth. I am no expert but was told to watch that when I bought a 4.7 for my 00. That could cause the problem you are talking about....

Got in the Jeep and checked for codes like Stonecold told me how. I get a P0340 code, camshaft position (CMP) sensor circuit. If that means what I think it does how much trouble am I in??? Totally...
