Re: Vibration > 65 mph

Thanks Benn0,

I should have mentioned in my posting that I have a 2005 WK 5.7 Hemi 4x4, although the Hunter Road-force machine referenced in this TSB would presumably eliminate the tyres and rims...

Vibration > 65 mph

Having cured various vibration problems at lower speeds through injector cleaning and replacing EGR valve, PCV valve and the MAP sensor, which made a tremendous improvement and made the ride...

Front differential - a possible vibration source?

I have a persistent problem with vibration on my 2005 GC 5.7 Limited, which occurs in the 40 55 mph range, albeit intermittently, although it does seem more likely to occur when you push down the...

Re: Torque Converter and PCM relationship

Briteway, whilst the problem sounds similar. Please note that the replacement of the torque converter is not necessarily the solution to my problem, if the root cause lies in the PCM, which I...

I have a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee 5.7 with the 545RFE automatic transmission and had been experiencing vibration problems between 40 and 50 mph, which cleared +50 mph and I suspected either a problem...

Erratic idling

My 2005 GC 5.7 Ltd idles quite erratically, but not all the time. Is this symptomatic of a failing EGR valve, although I have no EVIC error codes that would suggest this, just from reading other...

Re: Erratic jerking while cruising

Even the dealers don't stock 5W20 here, in fact they offer 5W40, although you can find 5W30 with a little effort in oil change shops. How do I reset the throttle control?

Erratic jerking while cruising

I have a 2005 Hemi 5.7, which has a noticeable jerking motion (to the driver) whilst cruising at say 40-60 mph. It is as though the vehicle is behaving like I was moving the gas pedal rapidly back...
