Re: Rocky Road WK2 Roof rails and rack

Yes. RRO replaced the rack portion (cross bars built backward). It is currently installed and is a great addition to my JGC.

Re: Installing Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller

Yes, that is the part from Tekonsha that connects the unit to the Jeep wiring. Plug and Play. Approx $15 here in the US. Ordered from etrailer.com

As far as knee airbags, it seems, if they exist,...

Re: Rocky Road Adventure rack

A little wind noise over 50mph. Not bad. No blocking the sunroof. A solid piece of kit.

Re: Installing Tekonsha P3 Brake Controller

Didn't know that the JGC had knee airbags. Is it possible these only exist outside of the US? I mounted my P3 down by the driverside under and to the left of the steering column. I hope I didn't...

Re: Rocky Road Adventure rack

I've got it. They build to order but turn around is quick. The first rack (part that fits between the two rails) was built backwards (spare tire cross bar up front instead of in the rear) but they...

Re: 2011 WK2 Prices Paid

Something's not quite right with these numbers (or there is a additional trade-in or something going on here)...

This Jeep, if my calculations are correct is approximately a $44k+ vehicle...

Re: Towing mirrors

Re: WK2 Hemi vs V6 MPG Compilation (results inside)

With only 450 miles on the odometer and living and driving in a very hilly city (San Francisco and Bay Area), I'm seeing between 8-10 mpg with my Laredo X with V8. I'm expecting slightly better...

Re: LED in the door **UPDATE**

Odd, this seems to be a Laredo X issue but not limited to early productions necessarily. My Laredo X has a build date of April 2011 and I have this same issue. In fact, the sales person described...

Re: Rocky Road WK2 Roof rails and rack

UPDATE: OK, RRO sent both the instructions (Yay!) and also let me know that it appears that the rack portion was built backwards (Ooops). Therefore, they're shipping me a new rack portion to install...

Rocky Road WK2 Roof rails and rack

Hi All,
Just received the RRO Roof Rails and Rack. While seemingly straightforward, they did not come with installation instructions.

I've managed to install the rails (at least, my own...

Re: Off-Road Adventure II Package Tires

I too was unhappy with the OEM tires, even with the "off road package." Figuring I wasn't going to get anywhere with Jeep/Chrysler, I bought Firestone Destination ATs (same as I have on my Dodge...

Re: Laredo with OR2 and QL?

Specifically chose the Laredo X for a few reasons; one being that it had most of the Limited specs and could get many of the bells (leather, Nav, tow pack, Hemi, skid plates, etc) but avoided the QL....
