Re: 2016 Jeep SRT new features....updated as we learn

Its on the wk2jeeps website. I was going to get the art brakes on mine, but i might just wait and see what these entail. Hopefully bigger rotors to fill the gap made by 22's!

Re: Adding SRT8 sway bar/s questions

So i'm looking at also replacing the sway bars with the art ones and the shorter links as i'm lowered on H&R springs. My question is, are there any aftermarket shocks available for non SRT models?...

Re: Factory 6 Speaker System

Yeah, i'm really not that clued up with audio systems to know how to tune it. I just want a bit more volume, better quality, and a bit more bass.

Running new speaker wires is going to be the fun...

Re: Factory 6 Speaker System

Aha, i see! So basically i would fit this behind the dash somewhere (if it fits) and plug the speaker wires directly in to this. Then you use the outputs to plug in to the amps. Gotcha.

Thank for that.

Well, the idea was that if there was an amp, i could intercept the signal from the head unit and re-use the cables going to the speakers, and fit my own amp and upgrade the...

Factory 6 Speaker System

Anyone know if the stock 6 speaker system in the 2012 Laredo has an Amp?
If so, do you know where it is?

Thanks!

Re: 2015 Range Rover VS Grand Cherokee (Overland/Summit)

One of the big things with SUV's in this price bracket (at least for me) is the feel you get when you sit in it. Whilst i agree the summit is a nice place to be, it doesn't have the same feel as the...

Re: 2015 Range Rover VS Grand Cherokee (Overland/Summit)

The thing is you will hear horror stories from both sides, and great stories too. My parents owned a range rover about 10 or so years ago, and they had until a couple of years ago, and it never...

Re: 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee REFRESH

Not sure what the worry about the new engines is all about.
Fiat have been using Multiair in there engines since 2010, so any kinks in the actual system would be ironed out by now.

Bummer. I was getting very excited about the pentastar "PUG" possibly going in to the JGC refresh. I guess there just rumours ey???

Anything else i mentioned a possibility?

Re: When Is The next JGC complete Redesign?

Yes, i read that. I was just wondering if those in the know, know if its a decent refresh with changes to materials used, design, etc. Or if its just a simple change in colours.

Cheers!

Re: When Is The next JGC complete Redesign?

On a side note. There is meant to be another refresh at the end of 2015.

Will the 275 HP diesel engine come to Jeep?

In November of next year my lease is up and i'm able to trade in for a new jeep. So i definitely won't be able to...

Re: Help with drivetrain noise! Please!

The new wheels have a taper on the bore that gives plenty of clearance for the washer, so I don't think the problem is there. I'm going to swap out to my OEM wheels anyway just to be sure.

Re: Help with drivetrain noise! Please!

I was actually going to swap out to my old wheels just in case it was something that stupid, but I definitely think it's drivetrain related.

Re: Help with drivetrain noise! Please!

Yes it definitely gets faster with speed, and yes, it's a bit worse when on full lock. Small steering inputs don't seem to make much difference, but full lock definitely does.
I double checked...

I assumed the top speed would have been limited to 155 mph, as that's pretty much what all cars here in Europe are limited to. That's why I assumed nobody would be reaching it or wanting to reach it....

Re: Tuning your EcoDiesel

Vmax removal is just removing the top speed limiter. Don't think many people with a jeep will be doing that as I doubt the car can reach it.

Not sure about gutting the DPF, but if it's anything...

Also, what about just gutting the DPF? That way you still retain the...
