Re: The decision on my first vehicle

Limiteds can have QT2, and if its a 4.7 than more than likely it does. The gen2 4.7s(08-10) are better than the gen1s, but the gen1's are still good engines. The qt2 will serve fine for light to...

Re: 4.7L Factory Synthetic Blend?

I'm also curious about whether or not they want to charge you more on top of what you've already paid for the oil changes. If not, and they just were informing you that they were going to only use...

Re: Heads up all WK owners

Don't listen to Fox, they're just anti EPA. Those companies aren't covering damage to engines ONLY if they're not Flexfuel. Convenient how they left that out. Don't trust Fox, dont trust MSNBC. ...

Re: K&N Air filter....is it worth it for my WK 06, 3.7?

Depends on how long you plan on having your Jeep. The big advantage of the K&N filter is that you'll never have to buy another air filter. So if you have it a while it more than pays for itself. ...

Re: Fumoto oil drain valve

The fumoto drain valves are great. No more oil spills. You dont even need an oil drain pan anymore. I just drain mine straight into the recycle container. Only downside is it takes quite a while...

Re: Failed Lifetime Powertrain Inspection

Maybe it's just me.... but I think it's common sense that the warranty would be voided if you add aftermarket items that in ANY way affect your powertrain. They shouldn't have to specifically state...

Re: 3.7L Performance Upgrades

Here is the thread 05WK was talking about. No need to reinvent the wheel. It's very extensive.

Re: 08 Hemi idle drops too low intermittently & stalls

dmsfun is correct. Unhook your negative on your batt and when you reconnect it, start the Jeep, let it idle for a min w/ the A/C off, then turn your A/C and let it idle for a min, then take it for a...

Re: Falken Rocky Mountain ATS !!

Have them, love them! Not too expensive, good tread life, pretty quiet on the highway, and great in the snow. Haven't tried them on gravel, but they handle mud, loose dirt and sand very well too.

Re: Advise on First JEEP WK

I've talked 4 of my friends into buying WK's after I bought mine. 3 of them have the 4.7's, one has the Hemi, and I'm the guy w/ the 3.7. The 4.7's get the best mileage. If you're absolutely...

Re: New WK owner looking for some help

Cant offer advice on what brand to use for the mirror, but I would go OEM. As far as what things you should do right away, that all depends on how many miles are on it. Use this site...

Cleaning the Throttle Body?

So I recently changed the spark plugs on my 06 WK(3.7l), and after removing the intake I noticed the throttle body was pretty dirty. I didn't have the time to clean it right then so I put it on my...

Re: Trade up to 5.7 - need pricing advice

Make sure you listen for Hemi slap, and look at rotors/pads/tires. If any of those 3 need replaced that always gives you some wiggle room on price. Those rims might make it hard to get a look at...

Re: What kind of MPG should I be getting?

Thanks for the info on the iridium, swapped them out for NGK Vpower, sure enough I'm up 2mpg. Also changed the front and rear diff fluid, not sure if that has anything to do with it. Either way,...

Re: Jeep VIN Number Locations - HELP! Possible Car Fraud Victim!

Rule of thumb, never buy a vehicle with frame damage. More often than not you'll have continuous problems with it.

To answer your question about the photos, I would say that the photos the dealer...

Re: What kind of MPG should I be getting?

I've ran seafoam in several different vehicles in both the oil and through the gas. I change my oil after 50 miles of the seafoam being in there. Did it 30k miles ago in my WK and have no problems...

Re: What kind of MPG should I be getting?

I have a 06 WK w/ a 3.7L, I do mostly city driving, lots of starting and stopping. Recently tuned up, bosch iridium plugs, Royal Purple oil w/ K&N oil filter. I have a K&N FIPK, stock wheels/tires...
