Yeah got pretty much the same response.
As long as there is plenty of clearance during suspension movements.
Short of talking to a Jeep engineer, I guess we'll never know what the bend is for....

I prefer the dropped & level look when in entry mode, like in the pic I posted, so I'll level it out by adjusting rear links only,...

By your measurements yours is very nose down.
I've measured from ground to underside edge of guard:
FRONT ---- REAR
Entry- 801 840 - diff of 39 - After rear links 19
Aero- 824 853 - diff of 29 -...

Hey Mark,
I've also ordered the link kit, but I will only be using the rears(think this what others have done), just to lose that nose down look, especially in Entry/Exit & Normal ride heights....

Haha are you guys serious, showing them installed on my GC shows it's possible, I didn't know this when I forked out for the hooks! If guys want them as much as I did, they'll figure it out.

Nice tablet mount, looks good there.
You could try some clear film for the lower guards.
I bought some clear film off eBay to try to protect the headlights, but its difficult to apply neatly...

Well yes it is, no offence but the Australian hook was a poor attempt to make oz GC owners shut up about the missing hooks, the US hooks require a bit more thinking to install

I thought The bracket studgun /Rhys made was to fit two of the single jeep aust hook, not the hooks as fitted in the US?

Nothing to do with Jeep Aust. at all. As I said, got sick of waiting so designed what was necessary to install them.

Well after what seems forever, I got tired of waiting, & I can now unveil my MY14 GC with Genuine Mopar front recovery hooks installed:thumbsup:
Nothing on the GC was modified/drilled/taped/cut what...

Yes they're great, but it's an NZ GC. Searched Jeep GC's online carsales in NZ & they all get the hooks, Overlands are chrome, ltd's & Laredo's are black.
I'm waiting for 200sxr to verify his info...

Maddington Jeep whom I purchased my '14 Overland from also installed a genuine towbar with my14 wiring harness, rear sensors turn off when i'm towing a trailer or my bike rack(with lights) is fitted

Yeah would probably be easier to turn an SRT into a Overland, with wheels & bodykit. Dissapointing you've had this engine trouble.

Recent 4wding in the GC Overland.
Track started off easy, got progressively harder with soft sand & some steep dune climbs that had me looking like... :eek: , but GC like...:sleepy:.

Agree the my14 GC's certainly stand out with those sweet new DRL's, gives the GC real presence like you say.
But have to say though, I think the DRL's/HID headlamps shouldn't be available on...
