Re: Another Hemi Gas-Mileage Thread

I've driven my 2010 w/Hemi for almost 2 years and 40k miles, and kept careful fuel logs, always calculated in gallons at the pump, NEVER the EVIC.

Bottom line is that there is a huge difference...

Okay fine. Boycott them because they gave you a full refund and did everything you asked.

Re: Do Not Buy From moparsupercenter.com

For a refund like this Amazon will deduct the shipping and require you to pay the shipping back. On an item this large that's probably a hundred bucks combined. Vendor paid both.

Vendor did not...

Re: Do Not Buy From moparsupercenter.com

As far as I'm concerned this is a strong RECOMMENDATION for this vendor.

Not only did they give the OP a 100% refund, but they ate substantial shipping in both directions. All they asked was that...

Re: What bolt is this in my transmission housing?!

I suspect PO did something strange also, but if dealer says it's covered, then go for it. I would.

Paranoia time: They pull everything apart and then says it's not covered because of the bolt.

Re: 4wd low problem

This is not a fix, it is a method for temporarily regaining use of 4lo.

The problem is that your FDCM has been flashed (N23) to require a tighter set of voltage parameters from the xfer case...

Re: Sleeping in your Grand Cherokee

The ThermaRest pads are the best by far, but they really push the boundary of "expensive".

The airbeds are very cheap and amazingly comfortable--as long as it's warm out. But if the temps are...

Re: lightning bolt, traction control, limp mode, hard brakes?

I'm going to agree with Jeff on this--dafuq?

That rubber sleeve with the giant hose clamps on it is your intake reducer. UNLESS--was there a smaller than spec tube from the intake, and this...

Re: Observations of a new Owner

The theory with the catch can is that the oil returning into the intake causes the engine to retard the timing, reducing hp. Additionally, that's more gunk geting into the inards. I have an...

Re: Do I really need new Shocks/Struts?

Dunno about other hardware. $200 seems like a decent price for a nasty job. If you're performance-oriented the Bilsteins are what you want. If I have any gripe against the Bilstein ride, I was...

I replaced my OEM rears with Bilsteins at 40k, mostly just to try them out on the cheap. They are definitely an improvement over stock for handling and dampening. Some people post that the ride...

Re: A nail is close to sidewall, repair? replace? or just let it be?

With only 9k on the tire I would replace it. Tread is not too worn and a single new tire can rotate in just fine.

Do you really want to drive another 40k - 50k on a tire with a plug in it?
