Re: Tyres - different specs for different countries?

I believe this to be true. Different driving conditions all around the world due to temperatures, road composition, offroad terrain etc. so it would make sense to make the compound of the rubber...

Re: CBI Rear Bumper W/Swingaway Tire Carrier

I love my jeep, but MAN, i'd have an affair with the 200 series 'cruiser at the drop of a hat. Especially when it and ARB have had a happy little marriage.

If the WK2 bar ends up looking anything...

Re: Grand Cherokee + sand = FAIL

It's not that the error doesn't HAPPEN, it's just that there's a mechanical lock between the wheels instead of electronically controlled which means it stays in 4LOW

Re: and the amateur off-roader

Let air out of your tires on sand mate, then you'll be sweet. We drop our 20s to anywhere between 18 and 22 psi, depending on the softness of the sand. You could go lower if need be, but not by much....

Re: WK2 Bullbar spotted in Sydney

haha you are right, it's better than nothing (in terms of protection at least). It is possible trucks use alloy bars to minimize weight, so they can carry as much payload as possible.

Re: WK2 Bullbar spotted in Sydney

I agree. I really don't think it's possible to have an thinner alloy bar that is stronger than a thicker steel one, without using expensive alloys to make it stronger

Scroll down the EVIC until you have the ability to change it from Metric to English units. Scroll back up to TPMS and it'll be in psi. Once you've checked, change it back to metric. Unfortunately you...

Re: Side Mirrors auto unfold when start up (only sometimes)

If you fold the mirrors when the car is already turned off they will come back on at 20km/h. However if you fold the mirrors THEN turn the car off they come back on when you start it.
