Re: Truck won't shift out of Park at all.......

I feel your pain. My last jeep just had too many problems with it also. I paid it down to where my loan was even with trade in value and just traded it in. Good Luck!

Re: Truck won't shift out of Park at all.......

No didn't have a warranty. Had to pay $2,000 for the rebuild. Hopefully your problem isn't as extreme as mine was.

Re: Truck won't shift out of Park at all.......

Mine was working perfectly fine with no problems. The next day I put it in gear to go, and nothing. The mechanic said the pump in the trans failed.

Re: Leaking rear axle

Did the manual say anything about pressing the bearings back on? I don't wanna tear it apart to find out that it needs a press. Thanks again.

Leaking rear axle

Hey,

So I noticed today that my rear passenger axle seal was leaking oil. Not something I wanna see especially after spending $2,000 on a new trans. Has anyone ever changed this out? or should...

Re: Cluster gauge will flash when driving...

It only does it when its really cold out, like anything below 20. I plan in taking it in before it gets cold again. It was more annoying than anything else.

Re: WK Front and Rear Differential Fluid Change

Hey guys,

Im confused... If you get Full Synthetic oil, do you still need to add the additive? or are you just adding it as "extra insurance" ? Thanks.

Re: WK2 Jeep SRT8 discussion thread

I think a hitch is a must. I remember reading an article comparing the trailblazer ss to the srt, and that the ss was better cause it had a tow hitch.

Re: WK2 Jeep SRT8 discussion thread

The 2011 GC is going to have an adjustable suspension, So I would figure that they would incorporate it into the srt.

I think it would be cool to have paddle shifters, and an adjustable suspension would be a great idea.
