Re: Discovered a new issue -- defroster temp control

Hmm...okay, I wasn't aware that this was an old issue. Good to see that the old issues are still finding their way into the 2015 models. LOL

Next time it happens, I'll give your idea a try. Still...

Re: You 2015 owners are so lucky.

Yeah, Popular Science magazine said the same thing back in the 70s. A gasoline-powered car would be unheard of by the next century. Well, we're about 15 years into that next century and...

Discovered a new issue -- defroster temp control

Discovered this just yesterday, with the cold temps here in New York I got in my Jeep and turned on the front defroster. The climate control temp was set to 68 degrees (both sides), so I bumped it up...

Re: V6 Transmission Shifting MUCH Better after Reflashes

That's good to hear....but what bothers me is that you're saying the rough shifts are "just about" gone. If they aren't completely gone, I'd be more than skeptical that the issues aren't truly fixed...

Re: Eco mode fix or patch coming soon?

Yup, that's the deal with my 2015. Eco always reverts back to "on" even if it was off when I park and shut it off.

Re: Qudra lift air suspension...?

The air suspension is always adjusting on its own. You can't just set it and forget it, hoping that it will never adjust. Once you hit highway speeds, it will go into Aero mode, and then return to...

Re: Damn it...Now My 2014 Overland Has A Transmission Issue!

And when it does eventully shift, is it a normal shift or does it bang into second gear?

Re: Another Service Experience, Another Rant

Sorry to hear about your troubles, but recognize that you are not alone. Premium brands seem to really treat the customer like a prince rather than a second-class citizen.

Re: 2014/2015 V6 transmission issue

I actually owned an early WK2 for a short time (my aunt sold it to me), but I knew before hand that it was problematic. It had no transmission issues (it obviously wasn't the new 8-speed), but it did...

Re: 2014/2015 V6 transmission issue

Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

FWIW, I honestly do hope we all get our issues fixed. I'd much rather keep my Jeep, despite what some of the members here may think. I really do like it...

Re: 2014/2015 V6 transmission issue

Guys, lets try our best not to get this thread locked too. It seems that every damn thread that even mentions the 8-speed transmission problems ends up locked lately.

Maybe the bickering is...

Okay, so this thread has officially gone to crap now too. I'm sure it will be locked soon. But in any event, I'm done with this part of the discussion. I have a Jeep that doesn't shift right and I...

Re: Why Do Complaint Posts Get Closed So Early?

Hahahha....yes, that's EXACTLY correct. They did say both of those things. Why do you think I got so pissed off? They lied to me. More than once. Finally, they admitted that the 8-speed is...

Re: Why Do Complaint Posts Get Closed So Early?

I am angry at Chrysler. But I'm also angry at the dealer FOR THE WAY THAT THEY TREATED ME. Do you not get that? Did you read my posts? The dealership experience started out great, but went to...

Re: Why Do Complaint Posts Get Closed So Early?

You are completely wrong on so many counts. Dealerships DO NOT want to do warranty work. They get far more money for work that is not under warranty. They HAVE to do warranty work, not that they WANT...

Re: Why Do Complaint Posts Get Closed So Early?

Pot. Kettle. Black.

I find it ironic that you'd say that, considering that you were the originator of one of the Consumer Reports threads.

Re: Why Do Complaint Posts Get Closed So Early?

Here's the problem....when a thread like that gets closed, the debate tends to spill over into a new thread...and so on...and so on...until it eventually does burn itself out.

Make it even easier....prove your own point. Post a link to the article. Or just post a screen shot. Stop asking me to do something YOU should be doing to prove your point.

And just imagine how well they'd be doing if they didn't have quality or reliability issues. I'm sure they wouldn't even be able to keep up with the demand.
