Further to thoughts on stability - for those that tow, this video is worth a look.

It has been around for a while now and is caravan oriented but a horse float is just as relevant, maybe even more...

The safety chain to towing hitch question is one that regularly pops its head into caravanning circles - and generally promoted by just such as the situation with the awkward connection on the WK2.

I know it doesn't really have relevance to WA, but just for general info I paid $243.20 for 20l of Mobil 1 ESP 5W30 in April this year, picked up from local depot at Pacific Petroleum in Burleigh...

I can post an update on our experiences with the new windscreen - and as you already know it was genuine Mopar from the dealer.
We had the phantom wipe issue for several days - dealer couldn't find...

Well, because I hate things like this i couldn't leave it alone….
Tried water spray on the windscreen - auto function worked fine. Did this 10 times or so.
Still phantom wipe on start.

On Tuesday the windscreen was replaced with a Mopar screen. (for info - priced at $2200!!!).
Yep - every time the engine is started there is a one wipe phantom sweep.

installers say they had done...

And it's the same as yours, Boxheadmr. I think if you did drill an extra hole like mine it would compromise the use in another hitch, unless you were able...

To bring my HR head closer into the Mopar socket I had another hole drilled into the HR shank 70mm closer to the head.
I don't believe the extra hole compromises the shank, it lessens the overhang...

After 15000k without even a stone strike this trip, today coming east from Camooweal, got a decent sized rock into the top left hand corner.
Parked in Mt Isa, went to lunch, and came back to a 300mm...

Our 2012 doesn't show a symbol when lowering to Aero.
At just over 100 kph the "lowering to aero" message comes up and that's all.
The drop is only 13 mm so it is done and dusted very quickly....

The figure is really only a recommendation from Jeep, and there are plenty out there that are well over, not using a WDH. I'm sure your vehicle will do it easily.

I use one and our van only goes...

Jeep recommend a WDH be used with all available suspension systems when towing an ATM over 2268kg.
You were in the ballpark anyway.

My owners manual, for my Autoelec supplied AU 90195A model P3 is titled for Model 90195.
It doesn't mention storing profiles.
Perhaps there has been an upgraded P3 released in the 4 years I have...

There does seem to be a difference in the part no - 90195 in the US where the specs mention the storable profile, against 90195A for the units marketed here.
