Re: AC blows rotten eggs smell ..HELP...please ..

I took a new Explorer back to a dealer years ago with the same problem. The service manager assured me they had something to take care of it. About 15 minutes later the mechanic (this was pre...

Re: AC blows rotten eggs smell ..HELP...please ..

Having your son work on your car does not void your warranty.

Try this. Put the system on recirculate. Find the in cabin air intake and spray some Lysol in there for 5 or 10 seconds. If it helps,...

Re: Mods to ventilated seats

Most folks initially expect air to blow out of all those little holes. That ain't gonna happen. The fan, most likely one in each front seat, draws air through those holes and ejects it under the...

Re: Safety Recall with 2 year backlog???? Really Chrysler!

Bob,

Since you watched I'll ask you. Did they find a way to put on the shield without separating the booster from the master cylinder?

Re: Synthetic oil?

Somewhere in the manual, at least in one of the 8 versions, it does mention synthetic. It say that you may use it ... but still use the change interval indicated by the EVIC. Nowhere that I could...

Re: Oil Change Question

No. There is no reason to ignore the owners manual. Follow the EVIC or the time limit ... I think one year.

There are two pluses to changing the oil more frequently. It puts money in somebody's...

Re: Just picked up my 2015 Overland 4x4

Just wondering if you've gone through your Jeep yet. I found my hitch cover in with the spare tire.

That interior must look great with the blue body. Enjoy!

Re: Grand Cherokee is a winner....and Cherokee is too!

Ugly, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder. To Jeep enthusiasts the new design may seem ugly. I'm not an enthusiast of Jeep or any other brand. I buy what best suits me at the time.

Re: Quadra Lift

When you speak to Jayco, see if the axel can be moved toward the back. This would put more weight on the tongue without adding total weight.

Running without WDH or switching from QuadrLift seem...

Re: Might have to cancel order... Opinions please!

If the Ford is as valuable as you indicate, that is more reason to have a proper tow vehicle.

The length or frequency of the trip has nothing to do with it. If you want to justify a bad decision,...

More likely caused by the tech ignoring step one in the TSB. A failed booster should not effect the seals in the master cylinder. Even in the recall it says if the booster fails you will have to...

Re: Dealership service choices??

Any dealer should provide service. I have never had my Jeep back to where I bought it. The service departments make money for the dealership. The smart ones don't care whose money it is.

Re: Should I be scared or getting a 2015 V6 with 845RE trans?

We need to go back to something like the Chevy PowerGlide. It wasn't always the smoothest (until they started slipping) but with only 2 speeds you didn't feel so many shifts. :D
