Just do your own research before you buy and you'll be fine. Just don't trust anything sales people or their service managers tell you. If you go in to buy a part, make sure you have the part number....

Re: tiHaving the exhaust done this week... Questions. 5.7L

Hard to tell from those videos. Sounds stock to me, so I don't think it would be too loud. Need to hear it at idle vs wot. They could have given it a bit more gas in the drive-by.

If I were to do...

I would suggest tune as a first mod. IMO you will not be...

Re: Performance upgrades for 5.7

srt8 headers will work on a 5.7. You just have to weld different flanges to them. I believe at least one of the places that makes these will happily do that for you to get your business.

Re: srt8 reps tires

Im probably going to go with 275 but debating on 40 vs 45. Want the side wall to be just right hight, not too tall and not too short. Im planning to also do srt8 eibach springs in the future.

Red top ftw. I've had the same one in my 95 blazer for over 7 years and it never left me hangin. Had one in my goat for 3 years now. Next battery I buy will still be a red top.
