Re: N23 Recall Finally Solved?

Thanks to all who responded.

I still have my unflashed FDCM from the scrapyard that I can put back in if need be. I'll post back and let people know if it works...

Re: Where is the Immobiliser module- I've got fault code u0167

Yikes! Sorry to hear that you're having so many problems.

I don't know anything about the steering column lock...usually they are just mechanical, so could be replaced without the dealer...

Re: N23 Recall Finally Solved?

Thanks for the responses.

I might as well take it in and give them a shot. Worst case, I'll put back in my unflashed controller.

I'll let people know if this solves things.

N23 Recall Finally Solved?

I looked at all the old N23 recall threads, and didn't see anyone talking about this here, so figured I would start a new thread.

Last week I received a customer satisfaction notice stating that...

Re: Where is the Immobiliser module- I've got fault code u0167

I'm not familiar with the part linked to on ebay. It looks like that could be the receiver for the remote entry perhaps?

Haven't had any problems with mine, but the fault code you describe is...

Re: Where is the Immobiliser module- I've got fault code u0167

The module is called the SKREEM/WCM - Sentry Key Remote Entry Module / Wireless Control Module.

This SKREEM is attached to the ignition cylinder switch housing.

Re: No ac on passenger side

Sounds like refrigerant is low, as stated above. Since you do not have the dual climate, it's not going to be a blend door issue across sides.

Check the system for leaks and recharge.

Re: 2005 , Liberty CRD diesel

Do you mean the fan isn't blowing on low speeds? If so, it's likely the resistor for the blower motor

Re: Hub assembly axle nut torque.

Does the vibration change as you turn corners? Usually if a wheel bearing/hub, it will alter sound as the bearing is loaded an unloaded.

Re: Starting/Dieing issues

Does it stall out if it just sits (once it starts), or does it have to be driving?

Can you pull the codes to see if anything shows up (or do the 'keydance' if your year supports it).

Right now,...

Both are pretty common wear and tear items.

You can certainly remove the wheel and have a place re-wrap it. Many people take the opportunity to upgrade their steering wheel to a wood wrapped one....

Re: ANOTHER IDLE ISSUE?! You have GOT to be kidding me....

A little bit of a bump in idle is expected. Not sure if 800 is more than one would...

It sounds like something wasn't aligned when you replaced the clockspring.
