Re: DEF INJECTOR and Harness protection group buy

After having the upper oil pan gasket changed, and having the CAT replaced, the plate has been off several times. It is starting to rattle, so I took the plate off to re-mount. I noticed the nut...

Re: New Vehicle Delivery Question

The dealer is required to top off the DEF tank. If they refuse, ask them to see the PDI check list for your Jeep. It is listed as topping off the DEF. Chrysler/Jeep pays your dealer to do this. ...

Drive it. I flew from Minnesota to Texas, drove from Texas, over to New Orleans for a night, up to St Loius for night, then back to Minnesota. Great road trip, and well worth the saving with the...

Mine is in the shop now getting the cat replaced. Supposed to be done this afternoon, then I get a call - they broke a stud bolt off something, and it won't be ready till tomorrow afternoon. Stuck...

After 26,000 miles I finally got the dreaded P20EE00 code. Hopefully the dealer will get a new CAT in next week. Getting a new CAT - yea, hopefully that is all I will need.

Re: Right part number for hitch ball and ball mount?

I would get one ball mount with a 4" drop, and one 2" ball. This is the most common setup for your Jeep.

Re: New Owner/EVIC/DIC Question

Re: Right part number for hitch ball and ball mount?

The answer is "it depends". For the ball, does your trailer have a 1⅞", 2",, or 2⅝" coupler. After you figure out the ball size, you need to figure out the drop (or rise). You want the trailer to...

Re: Safety recall / Occupant Restraint Control

Not positive, but I think they replace the module that has better electrical connectors on it. As far as the transmission update, I noticed much smoother shifting after the update.

Re: Possible causes for oil leak down front of engine?

Have mine in the shop now to replace the oil pan gasket. They say it is a 1 hour job. Have to remove the break calipers, and drop the front axel to get the pain off. Glad it is under warranty.

Re: Overland w standard 20s or 18s?

Re: 2015 vs. 2016 Ecodiesel

Re: Newbie: 2014 GC Limited 3.0 Ecodiesel

Thats a good policy to have. It would really suck if you try to get somewhere in a hurry only to have the thing suddenly setting off codes/warnings, or worse yet, go into limp mode.
