Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

At one point, I had looked into the idea of finding a frame mounted storage box that could mount below the spare tire well for tool storage. Unfortunately, it appears the closest thing only exists...

Re: What did you do to your WK2 today?

Finished up the install of the RRO leveling kit + some .75" rear TJ coil spacers to give it a little bit of a rake.

Also added 255/75/17 Cooper ST Maxx on my 17's.

Ride is definitely more firm...

Re: WK2 Offroad

Nice! What I like about the JGC is that it's such a comfortable and almost luxurious ride, and for a stock rig it's pretty capable off road.

Anyone near Hollister, California, there's an off-road...

Re: "I don't know how to drive in snow/ice, so I blame my GC" Part Deux

Yep, don't mind the gap at all to have a spare duratrac and matching wheel with me at all times. Don't want to be in the middle of the everglades and not have a proper spare.

Re: Removing Flaps from Front Fascia?

Nah they are the ones that you pull up the inside bit to disengage. Try a precision screwdriver to get it started, then use sidecutters / diags held loosely closed to pry them up.

Re: Vechile at dealer, need opinions! - Larger tires and Air ride

The 2013 / 2014 Air Suspensions are different, especially builds after Aug 2013. They use different components and there is an auto park height option, so it is likely the OP is in a different...

If it's a yellow CEL, you are probably ok. A red light means stop. Yellow means have it serviced soon. As long as it starts and runs ok, I would just get it taken care of when it's convenient. ...
