Re: Heat Shield Rattling

I was trying to figure out where that shield was on mine. Apparently the V8 doesn't have it.

I would agree that a slight bend or dimple in the shield would change it's harmonics and likely change...

Re: Steering wheel jiggles over bumps

I've wondered that too. On mine the road doesn't necessarily have to be very rough. Sometimes an expansion joint will cause a small jiggle as an example.

I have driven lots of vehicles and only a...

Re: EVIC - "4WD shift in progress"

I just started getting the "4WD shift in progress" message for a second when I first start up as well. Not every time...but often enough. No binding that I can feel though.

Actually it does sound like the HVAC on yours. Mine has done that intermittently and I've also had that water rushing sound behind the dash when first turning on the A/C at times. Usually if I look I...

I have a similar issue with no water found when checked. Where does it sound like it is coming from on yours? (Front, back, etc...).

Steering wheel jiggles over bumps

This is a 2014 JGC Overland (air suspension). Lately (although it might have been doing it before) I've noticed that when going over pavement irregularities at moderate speed I get a "jiggle" in the...

Re: Quadra Lift Service Advice

It's likely low nitrogen pressure in the tank. Since your other modes work okay, it likely simply has lost some nitrogen and can't maintain enough pressure to get to ORA1 or ORA2.

With the QL...

Totally true Bill. It's ridiculous but I suspect you're right...it'll happen. It'll be amusing when people start saying "I just feel like it's always shifting. Like every second or so." :D
