Re: Got My First Jeep!

I have seen Jeeps in my area with similar mileage and year going for that price. I bought a clean history 2010 3.7 with 41,000 in December of 2011 for $18,400, took lot's of bargaining though.

Steam from grill

This may sound like a dumb question, but I'm trying to see if anyone else is having a similar issue/occurance. Anytime we get rain, snow, etc. I always get steam coming out of the front of my Jeep. ...

Just 67,000 for me. Bought it with 40,000. Couldn't be happier with it. I'll drive it till it crumbles beneath me.

Re: Real MPG (2010)

I will add that I have owned 6 cars in my time and this is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned. I am more than happy with the 3.7 for my needs. I just feel like I'm in a tank in this thing...

Re: Real MPG (2010)

I would have to agree, my 3.7 is far to weak for the weight of this thing and I could get just as good of mileage as the 4.7. Don't get me wrong I still love the hunk of metal, but more power would...

Re: Real MPG (2010)

I have a 2010 3.7L and I drive 25-26K miles/year. Highway is anywhere between 21.5-22, maybe 23 if feathering. City driving is anywhere between 15-17. I commute around the DC metro area with 60%...

Re: Need Some Help For Rear Brakes

There are a couple of write ups for rear as well as front brake replacement in the how to section of the WK forum, they are very detailed and should be more than enough for step by step guide.

Re: Dealerships, do you trust yours?

Any recommendations for dealerships in Northern Virginia? I haven't had a need to take my WK in yet, crossing fingers, but want a good one in case. That is, if there is even a good one.

Re: TC & Front/Rear Diff 30k Service

ATF-4? WKJeeps and http://www.jeepgarage.org/f187/fluids-and-capacities-wk-quick-reference-10865.html say ATF+4? Just wondering if it could be non-Mopar fluid for the TC.

Re: Diff Cover Removal - 60K Service

Yeah definitely just draining the front diff to make life easy and it doesn't appear my rear diff requires an additive, I believe its the C213R, but I will double and triple check the manual.

Re: Gauge Cluster Stopped Working

I'll have it checked out today, seems through more searching that the battery might be the cause. I bought it used at 40,000 miles and believe its the original battery.
