Re: '14 - Roll call for MPG figures

Update from my original post. Currently at 16 MPG (5.7L, mostly city driving, in DC area, so near sea level, nearly 1000 miles). When driving mostly hwy, I'm pushing 22-23, but I've yet to drive on a...

Re: '14 - Roll call for MPG figures

Quick update to my original post - I was hovering btwn 12.3 and 12.8 (mostly city driving) in my 5.7L using 87 and driving mostly in S or D as I broke in vehicle. Now that I'm at 600 miles, I tried...

Re: '14 - Roll call for MPG figures

I'm still at 12.3... and still doing lots of city driving. Still avoiding ECO mode until I get a decent break in. Will keep folks posted but for now still sub 13 in city driving using 87.

Re: '14 - Roll call for MPG figures

update: I'm currently at 12.3mpg. I've been driving more in sport mode than anything to help facilitate a good break in. I'm still sub-300 miles, so still hoping the break in let's me get closer to...

Re: 2014 Hemi EPA MPG

There's been some discussion of MPG on the 2014s already. I'm currently averaging 12.3 MPG with nearly 100% city driving. Still sub 300 miles, so not fully broke in yet. That's in DC area (so just...

Re: 300 mile report

I'm squarely at 12.2 MPG, city driving. 5.7L, slightly above sea level (in DC), tires at 34 PSI, and running in a combo of sport and regular D mostly.

Mine streams via bluetooth fine. I stream itunes, songza, pandora, etc and the skip button on the steering wheel works with them too. I had dealer pair mine, so I can't help with pairing advice...

'14 - Roll call for MPG figures

Fellas, what are you getting so far?

5.7L - 12.8 mpg average. I've logged 220 miles so far, nearly all city driving (at most 55mph on city hwy, lots of lights, and stop and go... downtown DC...

Re: 300 mile report

Regarding the tranny, I'm finding that mine is learning nicely... even in ECO mode, it's far less noticeable than when i first got it. Are you noticing same? Really loving my '14!

Re: 2014 first 100 miles - impressions so far

I haven't had that happen yet, but around DC, I haven't encountered many hills (which it sounds like had something to do with your revving). I would *tend* think it'll learn, but I'll let you know if...

Re: 2014 first 100 miles - impressions so far

I've been sticking with ECO more than I thought, and I do notice it getting better as I continue to break it in. Still isn't the same as with ECO disabled. I'd imagine for those of you who aren't in...

Re: Uconnect Access for the 2014 is a GO!!

Researched if it'll play M4A files (itunes files), but appears that it'll still only play MP3 files off the SDcard. That's a huge bummer. Understandable since M4A is a proprietary files of apple's. I...

Re: 2014 first 100 miles - impressions so far

If you're talking simply gear to gear (in other words, is there a lag) it's really seamless, generally speaking. No lag or loss of power I've sensed, which you typically notice at lower speed and...

city driving in ECO mode

ECO certainly shifts at much lower RPM than Drive alone. My worry is that doing a significant amount of city driving, this will put undue stress on the tranny. Literally, 7mph it shifts to 2nd, 13mph...
