If you have the 3.6L Pentastar you have standard duty brakes. I don't believe adding a tow or offroad package changes that.

Thanks for the info JA. I have the specs for the standard brakes, so the HD setup is indeed significantly bigger.

Std. front = 328mm
Std. rear = 320mm

The sales code is BR6

350mm Vented front rotors
330mm vented rear rotors

normally only found on vehicles equipped with V8 and eco diesel

A vehicle that came with out them can be upfitted...

I haven't purchased tires nor done a brake job since 1990 on an '87 Bronco II. I have had several vehicles that have had nothing but a single oil change. My current vehicle will be one of those.

We need to go back to something like the Chevy PowerGlide. It wasn't always the smoothest (until they started slipping) but with only 2 speeds you didn't feel so many shifts. :D
