Re: Navigation directions in EVIC?

Jeep back at dealer again for look at the Navi setup. They said they couldn't replicate it, but I showed them the option to turn it on and off had disappeared.

Anyone else out there experienced...

Re: Navigation directions in EVIC?

So the dealer redownloaded the Navi for my Jeep. Interestingly, they told me the reason it wasn't working because the head unit had been replaced before and it wasn't done properly. I know that's...

Re: Navigation directions in EVIC?

Thanks, Snuke, for the tips. I did do the engineering "factory settings" reset, which I presumed is the "hard reset."

I got the SRT logo and weird stuff initially, then it seemed to come back to...

Not sure what type of reset I did - it said "Reset to Factory Defaults." Navi still not showing as an option on the 8.4a screen at bottom.

Ack! Tried the hard reset and lost my NAV altogether. Anybody know how to get it back without a dealer visit?

Re: Navigation directions in EVIC?

I have not had any success with the dealer yet -- they were checking with the Jeep reps and didn't get back with me. Stopped by the other day to get an appointment -- the adviser who helped me before...

Thanks for the tip! That may be the case as this was not apparent on the non vented seats. It's definitely not a leather issue - it's beneath the leather and feels like a void in the foam.

I'm not giving you a hard time - I asked for your opinion, appreciate it and am weighing it in my concerns with the dealer. I've decided to leave the media door thing alone. The seat - I believe I...

Re: Would you make the dealer replace the seat?

No kidding -- the little access door that opens to the multimedia inputs in front of the gearshift is crooked and that bothers me, but I'm letting it go because virtually all of them are. Dealer said...

Would you make the dealer replace the seat?

Traded 2014 3.6 Limited for a CRD. This one has the Lux II package which includes the ventilated Nappa leather seats (sorry, no Corinthian leather available yet).

So the passenger seat has a...

It's at the dealer today -- hoping they can fix it, but after the comments here not sure it will be easily fixed. Tech that drove me to work said they'd done lots of head unit replacements in the...

Well my new CRD is missing this option. Had a near identical gasoline model and the navi showed turns in the instrument cluster. Wondering if the OP resolved the problem?

Thanks all -- this is really strange. That option is not there. This JGC had the navi added at the dealer but so did my last one. I'm going to try flashing again and see if that might help.

Re: Navigation directions in EVIC?

Thank you -- I'll look again. I swear I looked both places. Could be a screwy flash update.

FWIW, the Navi is pretty crappy. I had a 2013 rental WK2 and the navi was Garmin, I believe. I made the...

Re: Holy smacks! My JGC just moved itself out of the driveway

I'd venture to say...

Holy smacks! My JGC just moved itself out of the driveway

I suspected it slid on a slightly snowy drive but that's not what...
