Re: Adding OEM Heated Seats to MY14

That's what I am thinking too, I will have nicer seats and they will still be heated. I can work on getting ventilation to work later.

Re: Adding OEM Heated Seats to MY14

Looks like a great project. Were they able to activate the ventilated seats as well for you?

Looking to pick up a set of ventilated trailhawk seats so I'm wondering how plug and play it is after...

Re: RA3 AND RA4 RADIO OVER THE AIR SOFTWARE UPDATES (v17.11.07)

The previous versions may have had the capability but it wasn't deemed stable enough to push updates that way. Maybe the last update finally has the stable version for OTA.

Re: RA3 AND RA4 RADIO OVER THE AIR SOFTWARE UPDATES (v17.11.07)

I would think Chrysler would be liable for any bricked units. We take a risk when flashing the update ourselves when we use a flash drive. If it's a forced update then they should be liable if things...

Re: RA3 AND RA4 RADIO OVER THE AIR SOFTWARE UPDATES (v17.11.07)

I wonder if the initial rollout is very limited just to make sure that things don't go completely sideways.

Re: Ice Damage - Ouch

I'm leaning towards the fender flares being a little loose and him just jamming a piece of ice in there to have some drama for a youtube video. Way more plausible than water doing that all on its...

Re: Switching Back to Summer Tires

I hate these weird high temperatures, it was almost 70 the other. Not fun when you have a 200 mile drive with winter tires on.

Probably going to leave them on for the time being and try to...

Re: Switching Back to Summer Tires

It is a complete separate wheel/tire/tpms set, if that matters. It's not that big of an issue to swap in the garage but laziness is a factor for unnecessary swaps.

Re: Differential Service Interval on 2014?

Also quick note on torque specs for the diffs. Had to call the dealership for these but they are 14ft-lbs for both the drain and fill. The transfer case is 15-25ft-lbs. I tightened mine to 18ft-lbs.

Re: Power Steering Fluid Low? Check your rack and pinion for weeping

Doesn't help that I just moved cross country so I can't even go to the dealer that I have a good relationship with. Hopefully the new dealer takes pity.

It might not be bad time to do a compression test. Also gives you a chance to take a look at the plugs while you're at it.

I'll type up some directions when I get home from work. Keep in mind that you will need four new plastic rivets and a rivet gun when putting the bumper back on.

Re: WK2 rear brake turn LED's installed. VLED V3 Triton with pics

Pulling the bumper is only a 5 minute process. I wanted to have better access to the area underneath the taillight to secure the controller and resistor.

I think most people did the install without taking the bumper off. It just seemed easier to pull the bumper off for me.
