They've left the receiver module at the tailgate threshold disconnected. If you want to reconnect it yourself, just remove the trim which is along the boot opening, surrounding the lock striker.

If you actually want one, a tow bar could equal between $275 and $1200 value. The former figure is my second time DIY effort using a second hand Mopar bar, the latter being around the higher figures...

For what it's worth, a trailer camera can be tricky to set up as both a reverse camera and a useful rear view device. It's not impossible by any stretch, but it's not always easy to set up a camera...

Activation of the reverse camera on demand is not possible by the usual pull up / pull down of a discrete reverse signal wire at the head unit. In the JGC it's all done on the bus...

Yep, you need to remove a chunk... about 70x240mm from memory. The kit comes with a really fancy piece of pinchweld to hide dodgy cutting, but it isn't too hard to do a neat job and do away with it....

Yeah the OEM emergency eyelet goes in the small hole on one side.

Both the cut-outs come off for manly tow hook and nudge bar installation. They are best removed when the lower air dam is...
