2015 Limited V6 loses dual exhaust

My local dealer just got a 2015 Limited V6 and it only has one exhaust tip on the right side. Way to go, Jeep...making the Limited more like a Laredo. Very disappointed.....

Re: 14 vs 12/13 headlights/ front end

Forget the SRT and just get one of these ^^^^
Then you'll have nice headlights and good towing capacity.

Re: Paddle Shifters - Hate 'em

Why are you getting so defensive? Shift paddles merely allow for another level of control. If you think that makes they "boy racer", then good for you. And BTW, why do you keep talking about driving...

Wow, thin skin, bud?

Anyway, sorry to see you go. I was really looking forward to your future posts after you've started to experience issues with your Jeep.

Re: Deer 1 - 2012 GC Overland 0

Not many people understand how crash sensors (for airbags) operate. Here's a Cliffs Notes version:

Frontal impact sensors (or the corresponding safing sensors) are actually sensing deceleration...

Re: Am I an IDIOT for purchasing a 14 JGC Summit??

An idiot? Well, the only person who can accurately answer that question is you.

A post like this after one day of ownership is funny. Can't wait to see what you have to say after, say, six month...

Re: making the 14 v-6 a little faster

Just leave your Jeep as it is and stick to racing Priuses. Or better yet, grow up and don't street race at all.

Re: 2014 WK2 WeatherTech Floor liners

Sorry to bring this back from the dead, but WeatherTech does list a different part number for the 2014 Grand Cherokee. I don't know how much different they are, but they have to be different if they...

Re: Consumer Reports Drops Grand Cherokee Recommendation

How so? Where do you find the bias in their reliability data? The magazine relies on owners of the vehicles for their data. Are you suggesting that bias exists more from owners of a particular brand...

Re: Consumer Reports Drops Grand Cherokee Recommendation

Exactly. The silliness is just, well, silly sometimes. Bias obviously exists for people who drive all makes/models of vehicles.

Re: Consumer Reports Drops Grand Cherokee Recommendation

Keep in mind that Consumer Reports reliability data (not their reviews) comes from actual vehicle owners. So really, the data has to be somewhat accurate. An argument can be made that it may be...

Re: 2011 Laredo to 2014 Limited.

Not at all. It's ugly, plain and simple. Just because you don't have a problem with it doesn't mean that other people don't think it's ugly. Any other vehicle in existence that has an unpainted, flat...

Re: 2011 Laredo to 2014 Limited.

Yeah, it kinda blends in on black vehicles. But any other color, it stands out like a sore thumb. In my opinion, the black plastic filler makes the upgraded headlights look more like the base model...

Re: Paddle Shifters - Hate 'em

Re: 2014 JGC HID Headlights - Black Plastic Piece

I think it's ugly too....so much so that if I go with a new 2014 Grand Cherokee, it will have to be a Limited model just because of the headlights.

Re: LED tails...really?

Check again. Turn on your parking lights and walk to the back of your Jeep. You should see a ring of light that is illuminated by LEDs.

Re: LED tails...really?

A lot of new cars use LED tails that aren't a bunch of individual lights. Kinda like the outer ring on the GC tails.

The 2014 taillights are LED, right? I mean, it's obvious that the "outer" ring is lit by LEDs....but what about the actual brake lamps themselves? Are those regular old incandescent bulbs? And what...

Re: 2014 V6 versus 2013 V8

I'm guessing that you've never driven a 2014 Grand Cherokee. The reason I say that is because the shifting is almost imperceptible. I don't really like automatics much at all (I've been driving stick...

Re: 2014 V6 versus 2013 V8

After driving the 2014 V6, I can honestly say that it feels remarkably similar to the pre-2014 V8 models. By the seat of my pants only, I'd say that they perform the same or at least close enough...

Re: Got demolished by a Ford Explorer Sport

Downhill with a heavy tail wind, right?;)

Most new SRT GCs seem to run low 13s at best around here. I've yet to see a stock one dip into the 12s.

Re: off-roading in NJ

Yeah, mostly just dirt roads there. But you gotta watch out if you take a shiny new Jeep there that you don't scratch it up on the more narrow parts with brush on both sides.

Re: 2014 Limited damaged in parking lot

Re: Comparing my 2012 limted to a 2014 limited

Yeah, but how much did the addition of the power liftgate add? Probably quite a bit I bet. Honestly, I'd be just fine without the power liftgate, but most people really expect that these days.
