Per TSB 09-002-13 http://www.wk2jeeps.com/tsb/tsb_wk2_0900213.pdf

If the customer describes the symptom/condition, perform the Repair Procedure.

If the dealership says "they cannot duplicate",...

Thanks for the reply. Will make sure I give that info to the dealership. Got the part number, Chrysler # 68207352AA, from AKHLK on Wednesday. Picked the rig up on Friday after two weeks at the...

Re: Major smoke out of exhaust

HELP !!!! Just got a call from the dealership and they told me that Chrysler says this is normal startup condensation (HA). And there is no TSB to be found. Talked to the service manager and he is...

Re: Major smoke out of exhaust

Hence, negating the whole purpose of the fix. The reason for "add" and "full" markings is so the operator knows that the oil level is correct for proper operation in all conditions.

Re: Major smoke out of exhaust

Chrysler should still supply a new dipstick. They should be taking responsibility for setting where the oil level should fall on the dipstick, not us, their customers. It would also serve as a...

Re: Major smoke out of exhaust

There is no mention regarding the length of the oil pick-up in the above post, hence the concern. Sucking air = bad, oil = good. Worth asking about.

Re: Major smoke out of exhaust

Wonder if they lengthened the oil pick-up to account for the added depth? Maybe not if they overlooked the need for a longer dipstick. My dealer wants the rig to run tests per Chrysler. Will...

Re: Major smoke out of exhaust

Have been following this thread for the last month or so. Our 2012 will smoke at startup with only a couple of degrees nose up when parked. Definately at 5 degrees with 10-15 degrees providing a...

Re: Volant CAI

I would agree. I would guess stock computer coding negates any real advantage over OEM CAI. Most or all of Hemi growl comes from Corsa.

Re: Borla vs. Corsa

Just got done with a 1,600 mile road trip with the Corsa and Volant CAI installed. Pretty nice. Exhaust tone at cruise is subtle but comes on louder with acceleration. There is definitely a MDS drone...

Re: Volant CAI

I used tire lubricant, soapy water would work too, to make getting the OEM box off its mounting posts. Slid right out when you pull straight up. Be really careful removing the temp sensor or you...

Nope, but she wheels a mean Jeep. Got tired of riding with me and "demanded" her own. Don't think that doesn't get expensive. Whatever goes on one, goes on the other.
