Auto leveling problem

The auto leveling function of my hid's stopped workin. They stay down. Anyone know what to check?

update: the oem bulb was flickering on and off and then stayed off because the bulb was going bad. installed new bulbs and all is well.

if money was not a factor in your decision what bulb gives better lighting...the mopar ones or aftermarket? i wouldn't mind using the aftermarket bulbs but i want the performance of the OEM. has...

i had to do the reset too. it worked for me and i never brought it to the dealer afterwards. its been at least 3 months without a hickup.

svenska...do the oem bulbs have a reputation of not lasting? just talked to a jeep parts guy and was told he rarely sells them because they are supposed to last a long time. he quoted me $166 per...

just driver's side and stays that way the whole time. i tried turning the lights on and off a bunch of times with out any change. these are the original bulbs that came with the jeep.

i have 09 overland oem hid setup. when the lights turned on i noticed a purple hue on the driver's side. anyone know if its a bulb goin bad or low voltage? its to cold for me to check the voltage...

got it done...i was afraid to turn it a full turn because it didn't seem like it wanted to go by hand. i took a pair of pliers and it went a full turn. thanks

is the valve on the bottom driver side of the radiator a ball valve? it turns a quarter turn but none of the fluid drains out. i tried running a wire thru it with out success.

the bilstein hd's are a great upgrade from stock but still are bouncy. i really don't care for them anymore but am stuck with them because the only other option i'm aware of is to lower the truck...

fwiw...if you tightened the catch can when it was really warm/hot...could be your problem. i've never had a problem taking it off when i tightened the can while it was cold.

i'll recheck. but if the bar was upside down i wouldn't be able to line up the bushings and oem bracket for the sway bar right? and the bar would be the same width regardless...i think. i'll check...

from what i remember...second or third gear isn't a real gear but a sub gear. probably there as a passing gear...hence the 500rpm difference. mine does it.

check if the pistons (5 and 6) are moving. use a wrench or socket on the harmonic balancer pulley nut to rotate the pistons. you can also check the oil for debris or change of color.
