I seem to have recently lost the ability to voice dial too... My 430N seems to interpret all names as things like "#527" or similar gibberish.

It may have coincided with iOS 5, and is the same...

Re: Custom POI Loads for 430N

Sure... on the main screen with the "Where To?" and "View Map" icons, just tap View Map and it will just track your current position without offering any route guidance.

Re: Off-Road Adventure II Package Tires

The number is 1-800-992-1997. Select the menu option for "New Vehicle Problem" (as best I recall). My humble advice: be polite, be clear about what you want them to do, and insist (if necessary) that...

Re: WK2 Taxicabs - Hopefully Not a Trend! (Pics)

The Ford Escape cabs are usually hybrids, which makes some sense. I'd guess this is just another indy cab operator making his car payments. Gas bills have got to be ridiculous in stop/go traffic all...

Re: Rain Sensing Wipers

Actually, I give Jeep props for having a setting via the EVIC that lets you turn them into timer-based intermittent wipers. On our WJ there is no alternative to the rain sensing.
