Re: OBDII wifi dongle and Ipad app

No, I never got it to work. I believe that my MY13 ecu does not provide as much ODBII info as the MY14 does. On the other thread...

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

This is a try on based on the warranty book which says filters are not covered. They tried it on me when mine was replaced. The DPF costs around $7k. They backed down when I rang fair trading while...

Thanks, I'll keep an eye on the cat temp.

There is an app on the apple store called Engine link. It will allow you to set up a custom pid to monitor the DPF full %.

The other DPF thread has...

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

I suspect that my cheap ebay dongle is "working as intended" too - it looks like the MY13 jeep does not support the dpf info. Jeep Aus have confirmed that it does not display any DPF info on the EVIC...

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

Thanks Steve, that's exactly what OBDlink does, so I will have to do without monitoring my DPF unless I win the lotto and go for one of the clone wiTech systems.

I haven't had any trouble since...

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

You are right, Dashcommand and torque not an option for IOS. I have just download enginelink from the apple store - it does support custom pids, but I cant get a custom PID to work for me - may be...

Amazing service from these guys, ordered yesterday, arrived from Canberra at lunch time today.

The rest of the story is not so glowing. I managed to get the MX to run and connect to my phone. It...

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

The Bluetooth connection is there, Torque does see the dongle and manages to display a few readings, like cat temp etc, but no show on the DPF%.

I have bitten the bullet and ordered OBDLink MX...

Thanks, that's exactly how mine look also. I created a dial using the custom PID, but nothing appears when I connect to the dongle. The Torque site has a warning about some clone dongles which...

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

Jeep have only implemented a very small subset of the ODBII codes. None of the DPF related ones are available to Torque ( or any of the apps I have tried.)

The only way to see what is happening...

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

All the information we need is in the evic. You can easily read it if you have about $10k and can prove you are a jeep dealer. There are PIDs in the ODB standard for all the info, all we need is for...

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?

Re: Is DPF issue for 2014 CRD fixed now?
