Re: Group IV Tow Package

My 3/13 early build Summit V6 has the 220 A alternator so it likely isn't a date cutover thing.

Re: Inside Rearview Mirror Adjustment

Maybe they made a correction for newer units. Mine is a March 2013 build. Maybe if we get enough posts with build dates we can find out if a fix or replacement is needed. Mine has had the problem...

Re: Struggling with decision... Overland or Summit

I went with the Summit after realizing that the added features of the Summit are items that I use everyday. It will do any of the off road that I would ever do, and both are about the same for any...

Re: HVAC (AC) after hard acceleration

Yes, evaporator, it was very late at night and I typed the wrong component. I meant evaporator which is the heat exchanger that the interior fan blows the air through to cool it. It has lots of...

Re: HVAC (AC) after hard acceleration

Still think it is freezing up. Take it in to the dealer and explain these symptoms. There may be a sensor that is used to detect a freeze-up and cycle the compressor to prevent the condition. I...

Re: HVAC (AC) after hard acceleration

Not sure about the time but if the air coming out of the vents gradually increases, it is likely due to the ice melting. If it changes instantly, something else is going on.

Re: HVAC (AC) after hard acceleration

Sounds like your A/C compressor is freezing up. The ice then blocks airflow. If you turn A/C off the ice starts to melt and when you run the fan airflow speeds up.

Totally agree about the cold shifting. I just use the paddle shifter to upshift for the first pass through the gears then go back to D. I consider this temporary while I wait for better software. ...
