Re: Audio upgrade complete, pics within

Ok one last addition.... I bought this little guy on ebay for $13. The video quality obviously isn't that great but I figured I'd try it out for a while and replace it with a better one later if...

Re: Audio upgrade complete, pics within

Yea I have an amplified system as well and I went through 3 different adapters before I found one that worked. I ended up using a Metra CHTO-013BB, which says it is for 07+ but seemed to work ok for...

Re: Audio upgrade complete, pics within

No I don't have pics, but I'll try to snap some if I can remember. Basically I just bolted some u-bolts to the board (drilled some recessed holes under the amps to keep the nuts from making contact)...

Audio upgrade complete, pics within

I just wrapped up the final phase of my audio project. I already had the deck, amp, and sub from a previous vehicle so I swapped those over a long time ago. Now it was time to replace the factory...

Re: Stock WK.. What shall be done?

Looks good! You sure that's film on the tails? Sure looks like nightshade to me.

Re: Stock WK.. What shall be done?

I love the SRT look! I had a hard time deciding whether or not to go that route, but in the end it came down to engine size. I felt like my puny 3.7 just couldn't back up that look. If I had a...

Re: No More Air Dam

See now I'm the opposite... I actually think the 08+ looks ok with the air dam removed but the 05-07 looks worse without it (unless you have an aftermarket skid plate). It reminds me of a car with...

Re: finally, it's all mine!

Congrats! I just paid mine off a couple months ago, and somehow I'm spending even more money now. Those M&M's will kill ya! lol

Re: Mod Ideas

2" lift & wheel spacers! My 2 favorite mods and together they only cost about $270. Only negative is that you'll want bigger tires shortly after. ;)

Re: Rough Country vs Spidertrax Wheel Spacers

I'd be willing to bet that was a result of loose lugnuts rather than a part failure. Did you use loctite and torque them back down after 500 miles?

Re: Spyder Clear LED Tails

Thanks. Yea, I just think clear looks better with white/silver paint. Not a fan of dark or tinted tails on light colored vehicles, just my own personal preference. These are a tad more "blingy"...

Re: WK Tow Hitch options?

Here is my under-bumper Curt Hitch, sorry I don't have a better pic. It doesn't look too bad but I'll admit that I kinda wished I had done OEM at first. However now that I'm lifted, I think it's...

Re: Few new things on my 05 WK

Well if you ever decide to remove the door moldings let me know. I'm not a big fan of chrome either but I'm sure it would look much better on my silver WK than the fat black Laredo moldings. ;)

Re: Few new things on my 05 WK

Ditto. Those have got to go, asap! Looks pretty good otherwise, although I think the non-matching nerf bars and pushbar would drive me nuts.

Re: Headlights

Ah, I knew there had to be a catch. Well hopefully there's a reason I paid extra for this ZXE model, other than just the cool box they came in. ;)

I did a cheap HID retrofit in my last car ('11 Kia Optima) and I hated it. Even with the factory halogen projectors it still looked bad and on a couple occasions they went out on me for no apparent...

Re: 265/70/17 with no rubbing?

Are those hubcentric? I bought my 1.5" RC spacers (hubcentric) from RC on eBay for $122 shipped. I would check them out first IMO.

Re: Daystar lift rear height

I am at 22.25" from fender to hub center with an RC lift and F150 MLLs. I installed my shocks at the same time as the lift so I'm not sure how much of that is from the MLLs. I've heard they add...

Re: 2'' Lift 05 WK

Agreed! I believe the only difference between the two is that the spidertrax are anodized blue and come with a little tube of threadlocker. If that's worth an extra $100 to you, then by all means. ...

Re: 2'' Lift 05 WK

Looks great! I have the same setup, only with 58643 Monroe Load Levelers in the back. You might want to look into them, they'll boost the rearend up another 1.25" to level it out some more. I...

Re: HELP PLEASE!!! RC 2" lift

That is an AMAZING price! I would've gladly paid someone else to do my lift for that kind of a deal. Just make sure they put it in writing and don't nickel and dime you to death later.

If you're in the market for tires, now is the time!

Discounttiredirect.com is offering a $100 rebate (Visa prepaid card) from 5/10 thru 5/13 on any 4 tires, and $50 for 2. I just picked up four 265/70 Cooper Discoverer AT3's for $550 after rebate....

Re: What kind of MPG should I be getting?

I have an '06 Laredo 3.7 w/ 55k and I was getting around 18-19 on the highway. I just swapped in new plugs over the weekend and I'm hitting 20-21 now. The gap on the old plugs was up to .055 so...

If you have an eBay account, check the completed listings for HU's identical to yours. That will give you a better idea of what it's worth than current auctions. FWIW, I sold the NAV HU out of my...
