I sell spot, flood, and combo light bars and the one I have for my WK is a spot for higher-speed driving.

However, I really like the four individual lights as well. Nice work!

I don't know how much of an "expert" I am, I just research the hell out of things. :) Without a doubt, I am very very happy with the combination of JWSpeaker driving lights and the XD headlight...

Ah, makes sense. Postion ON goes to the light bar to turn it on without the high beams on. Auto goes to the high beam wire so when power goes to high beams, it energizes the light bar. Off goes to...

As the OP of this thread, it is cool to see how things have evolved in the past year with LED lighting. The fan version of my lights are still doing fine...but the idea of the fan running still...

Those look like the same model I use, and I don't have any interference issues.

I simply velco'd them to a vertical area right behind the headlight. I think I have pics earlier in this thread.

Are the speakers the only thing you replaced? You kept the factory head unit and amp and all the same?

I ask because I went though adding Polk speakers all the way around and it hurt the sound,...

You can always just unhook it/hook up the OEM stuff and drive around and see how much of a difference it is making, but I didn't have noticeable issues (and still don't).

Fan version - 110 degrees at hottest spot between ballast and housing.
No fan version - 113...
