It also looks like there is a bump/cavity on the cap. maybe the tip of the shock shaft is tapping against it. Just a guess.

Get the HID fogs. The led's are worthless for actual function. Better for fashion:p. i guess if you live somewhere where you never experience fog then the cheaper led's would work.
