Re: Ready for some tuning? Look here!

Oh. See. V6. I can not talk on that, but during the test drive I felt the Pentastar was a bit anemic for the Jeep.

In the case of the v6 I would agree that a 8-Speed would help, but still keep in...

Re: Ready for some tuning? Look here!

Yeah, I experience the same thing. When I brought it into the dealer to see if there was a flash update, I could best describe the issue as the ECU->Engine->Tranny were confused, and we're arguing on...

From the SRT engineer thread yesterday, they say:

1) Stay "tuned", more details coming soon.

In response to:

Re: How to tie down a Christmas tree?

I'm glad someone posted this... We had to take the wife's RX since it had roof rails. She was pissed. I think her response was "Why did you trade in your truck again?"

SOOOOO WARNING!!!!!!

Re: Hemi - Sometimes fast, sometimes slow?

I think what people are feeling is the car in Open Loop.. I'm pretty sure these engine stick in Openloop while warming up which makes the engine run like a horse... Once it warms up, and starts going...

Re: Any new Updates heard for a WK2 Programmer - BullyDog, HyperTech, SuperChip

Well, the point of the thread was to say, it's not 'unhackable'. Just most likely cost prohibited for these companies to 'Hack' into the modern ECU's. It was also to put your Guard up a little bit by...

Re: Any new Updates heard for a WK2 Programmer - BullyDog, HyperTech, SuperChip

This is true and False. If you look at a Brute Force type attack, these times go down every day as processor speeds increase. In fact with cloud based computing, an amateur with a few bucks can spin...

Oh wow... How often does this happen? I have felt it like 3-4 times over 6 months, not enough for me to worry about it.

That being said, these mods will most likely not effect that. What it seems...

Re: Hemi Gas Mileage

Few things.

#1. Even tho it says 'Eco' it doesn't mean that MDS is active. All it means is that you are currently driving within the bounds of the best possible mileage for the situation.

#2....

Re: New Chevy Trailblazer- a true Jeep competitor?

No V8. :(

The Jeep is the last mid-sized SUV that has good ol' MER-KAN v8 under the hood. Shame.

Re: SRT8 braking performance on a Laredo?

Also, v6's have smaller Brakes than the v8's. And, short of bolting on Brembo goodness to your ride, it'll be hard to get sub 120ft.

That being said, some new pads and SS lines will indeed help....
