I would assume most companies do not include the $80 can interface. It is not your standard wiring harness, its a data module. They may however include the faceplate.

Any aftermarket radio requires a wiring harness that can send out CAN commands. They are about $75 also you will need an antenna adapter at ~$15

I have done quite a few full car installs, its just too cold in MA right now to do that so I plan on upgrading down the line. I plan on doing mb quartz for the speakers... had them in my last car and...

I have the pioneer avic 920bt with a universal cam.. looks pretty good and the system does everything I need. I do however like the look/sound of the factory nav better.

Not to hijack the thread, but I do have my REC navigation for sale in the classifieds. If you have the amp already, then it is a simple install ( 4 screws hold in the radio)
