Re: Tow Rating shows 3500# with class IV package?

just to keep folks from getting confused: according to the '16 owner's manual, the limit is 3500 for the V6 without factory tow package

Re: Valve Seals Powertrain Warranty

It is likely that you just need a new dipstick.

Who does your oil changes? if you put in the prescribed amount of oil, this problem will likely go away. But.. if extra oil is added to make the...

Re: Tire Pressure warning on dash but it's okay??

you can inflate 'em, drive to the local bar and have a couple diet cokes, drive home, and air down if you want.

attached is the magic pressure chart for '14s (dunno if other years are different)....

Re: Transmission Fluid Replacement at 50k.

There's chatter about this over on dodgedurango currently..

Re: WK1 Gen1 & Gen2 Headlighs interchangeability??

The shape of the headlights changed slightly for MY 2008 IIRC.

Re: Jeep plant tours?

well, no need to beat up on unions.. the plants are not set up to deal with customers; that's what dealers are for.

Re: Jeep plant tours?

Tours are possible under some conditions (I've done two at JNAP), but not by just calling up and asking if you can show up. Tours cause myriad issues with expense, safety, logistics, and production...

Re: Engine Stop HELP!

I don't own a Cherokee, so all I can do is read the owner's manual.

I would have thought there was a permanent setting, but the OM doesn't cover it (maybe the UConnect manuals do).

Re: '14 SRT, Front Suspension Collapsed?

+1. Dealer needs to do it. They should be glad you got someone to come up with the parts.

If the dealer wants to go after the dealer they got the springs from or Eibach, that's their problem -...

Re: Is it Normal to be told to wait a month to check a check engine light?

Get a cheap OBD-II reader and find out what the code is.

Most non-blinking CEL issues are OK to drive with, though they might point to a problem that, if it gets worse, could leave you stranded..

Re: Oil drain bolt frozen in oil pan!

have you tried a good impact wrench on it?

You said your GC does not have the factory tow package, correct?

If so, your official limit is 3500lb. Bolting on a hitch doesn't change that limit.
