Just a follow up-

The WIN was the problem and the Jeep is working fine now. Thanks for the help, guys.

Just finished replacing the WIN. It took about thirty minutes and was pretty easy to do. Could probably do it in less than twenty minutes if I had to do it again.

Now I have to have it towed to...

It seems I do have to have the dealer program the WIN. It pays to read first. It looks like a novice can program a new fobik to an old WIN, but not a new WIN to an old fobik. Thanks, Frango, for...

Also, it's stuck in the locked position instead of not being able to go into locked position.

That is exactly my key. I got a whole new module. I'm changing it out tomorrow. It doesn't look very complicated, but I am concerned about being able to program it to my key.

Maybe I am misspeaking. It is an electronic key. There is no metal key. It has a rectangle head.

This is an fob, so there aren't any pins. The new cylinder has come in and I'm replacing it tomorrow. I'll report back.
