Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

Re: Any KK owners with oil leaks?

Well, that's good to know. I'm not sure about this one. I've tightened the filter incrementally trying to get rid of the very slow drip, but haven't had much luck. I run a K&N oil filter in it...

Re: Tuf Shine Tire Kit

Thanks! The reasoning for me is that once chrome chips, you're screwed. The clearcoated aluminum can be treated just like the paint on your Jeep, and if the clearcoat ever fails, you can always...

Also, the instructions say you shouldn't have to clean the tires like that again...just clean with regular car wash soap and water, and touch up the coating as needed if you scuff the tires or...

Now it's on to the shine part of this kit. You're provided an orange sponge applicator. A little goes a very long way. It'll tend to foam up when you rub it over the raised letters. Just keep...

Re: 4.7 HO, recommended oil weight?

10W30 here too...it's all I've ever run in my HO. Not that it matters, but I've only run Royal Purple Syn with a K&N oil filter. Nearing 115k.

Those are fun to wire in aren't they? If I remember correctly, I had to tear out the gauge cluster! Totally worth it though to have the defroster, wiper, and domes.

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

This isn't something you'd want to tackle yourself? Starters really are pretty straightforward. 3 or 4 bolts, 1 or 2 wires and you just swap it out. If you're definitely taking it to a garage, I...

Re: What are you doing to your WJ next?

When you're adding CF wrap to your phone holder....that means nothing is broken. All good things. I did get new summer tires to put on reps...but that's not happening until the winter wheels go on.

Re: Coolant leaking!!!

1. The radiator failed again
2. The cap never got replaced with a new one (you should replace the pressure cap every so often, they wear)
3. (and most likely) - a hose...
