Re: Jeep in CO Rocky Mountains (PICS)

Thanks. I picked white because I thought it looked the best with the black plastic trim and chrome grill. Once I took it on the trail I was glad that I did not have a dark color because it would...

Re: Jeep in CO Rocky Mountains (PICS)

There were a few spots with big a$$ rocks in the way and not much room to avoid them. I was able to make it by them without scrapping. QL just would have made things more relaxing.

Re: Jeep in CO Rocky Mountains (PICS)

How long until your rig comes in? We need to get all the CO members out on a run. I will be the jealous one... once I see your QL system. I could have used a few more inches of ground clearance.

Re: Jeep in CO Rocky Mountains (PICS)

Thanks. The trail was pretty tame, but the scenery was amazing. Elevation was about 11,000 feet. This trail is located by Keystone, CO. I was able to play with 4Lo and hill descent control. The...

Re: Does WK2 have electronic throttle control?

I have the new V6 and feel some hesitation from time to time. Just like you said, you hit the gas and nothing happens.

Re: Are there any connection points on WK2?

I'm not sure what model WK2 you are getting, but I would spend the extra 950.00 and get the Off-Road I Package. I think just having QT II alone is worth the 950.00, plus you will get the tow hooks...

Re: Would you change/redo anything (For the people who have a 2011)

I would change the design of the 17" wheels that come on the base model, but I guess they make them basic so that you bump up to the Limited or Overland. I would also offer a better off-road package...

Re: Question re choosing tires (Overland)

I might be wrong, but last time I checked there are limited options in the 20’ inch size (265\50\20), plus they are really expensive. I think it’s better to go with 18’s or 17’s… Cheaper, more...

Re: Issue with Vinyl Dashboard

I have the hard plastic dash and the burrs are from the vinly. Iím just going to leave it for now. My main reason for this post is so future buyers can check this spot at delivery.

Issue with Vinyl Dashboard

I have an issue with my dashboard vinyl where the edge of the dash meets the plastic defroster vent. The vinyl appears to be burring up in spots, it almost looks like little hairs of vinyl sticking...

Re: 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee TSB's(technical service bulletins)

I noticed that this TSB has been updated to 21-004-10 REV. A. I think I might take my Jeep back to the dealer and have this double checked.

Re: A few pics of my WK2

I agree. Although I do like having more sidewall as compared to 20's, which are 50 series. I also like the 17's due to more options for off-road tires and the tires are cheaper. The 20's do look...

Re: 2011 Grand Cherokee on fire

I agree. I also chatted with my brother, who has been a firefighter for 11 years, and he said that he has never seen a car fire start due to the battery.

Re: Remote Start \Rear window defroster?

I've been leaving the AC on and running it through the main vents. I have not had to mess with defrost-vent settings due to it being so hot out.

Re: Remote Start \Rear window defroster?
