Re: Rear End Whine at High Speed

A few necessities in life: A wife, a good dog and a trustworthy mechanic!

Glad it's fixed for you. And for a whole lot less than mine was!

Re: Looking at a 2015 Outback- comments?

Looking at Blizzaks for winter tires. Stock are continental "all season." I.E.- crap. Loving the Outback so far!

Re: Rear End Whine at High Speed

99% sure it's your rear differential. Mine had the opposite problem. Whined on unload (deceleration) and went away with load (acceleration) at highway speeds. VERY common in Jeeps. I'm impressed...

Re: Looking at a 2015 Outback- comments?

Well, I bought a 2015 Outback 2.5i today! Half-sad to see the Jeep go. Just an end of an era. Only 70k miles but mechanically, just not doing well at all. Can't say that I'll recommend a Jeep to...

Re: The Official Lifted WK Thread

Yeah I'm curious what it will do for a 2" lift/level kit.

Might be trading in for a '15 outback anyway soon...

Re: Looking at a 2015 Outback- comments?

I was actually debating skipping the Nav all-together but on the 3.6l the Nav comes with the moonroof, which I want. I'd almost prefer an aftermarket Nav ( saves $$$ and has better features) but I DO...

Re: Looking at a 2015 Outback- comments?

Thank you, Scott. I wasn't really sold on the looks but I JUST saw the slight facelift in the 2015's and I was pretty pleased, actually.

Edit: As for tech specs. It has lane assist and from what I...

Not looking for pro-USA comments here. Not worried about who's gonna build our war machines...

Re: Looking at a 2015 Outback- comments?

It's a world economy. I don't have a problem buying something not headquartered in the USA. Even USA manufacturers have plenty of parts outsourced.

Looking at a 2015 Outback- comments?

I'm debating trading in my '06 Limited WK for a 2015 Outback. I'm curious if anybody around here has experience with the Subaru. I'd love some feedback on reliability (please be better than my Jeep)....

I've seen the module for the superlift kits, but I only have the 2" kit and am not sure if that's something I can use or not.

Sensor Hunting/Replacing/Diagnosing HELP? (4.7L)
