Re: SRT better buy than Macan or SQ5?

Silver Overland, 3" OME springs and 31s, but basically looks like a stock jeep should haha. No more minivan stance.

I'm in Columbia heights and I see a black, pre-facelift SRT WK2 driving...

Re: SRT better buy than Macan or SQ5?

Where do you live in DC? I've seen an SQ5 in my condo parking garage a few times, but the spot is usually taken by an RR Evoque.

I'm in downtown DC as well, driving a slightly lifted 04 GC. ...

Re: Livernois's Whipple supercharged 2014 SRT Jeep

LOL at the "Inferno Gato" package on your site, nice name :D Any idea how much power one could net from that? If the non-built motor makes 600whp, I'm guessing we could expect at least 700whp? ...

Re: window lift kit

Loved this feature on my '07 335i. I could hit the button and roll down all 4 windows and the sunroof. My car sits in the hot sun all day at work, but is near the river, so we get a lot of wind and...

Re: What caused damage to my front tires inner edges only

I'd guess improper toe scrubbing the tire. No way the camber being off a degree or two would wear out a tire to that extreme.

When I lowered my last BMW, I (stupidly) never got an alignment...

Re: Deceleration whine

Seems like it might be normal for an AWD vehicle. The transfer case in my WRX was quite loud and letting off the gas is usually when you hear gear whine.

Re: 14StormTrooper & JVM S/C Installs

If you think about it, since the belt is always spinning the blower, there is some boost being made all the time, even at idle. The BOV needs to have a fairly loose spring to constantly let out this...

Re: Supercharged '14 SRT For Sale...

Ugh, looks amazing. But yeah, the price is a bit over the top. Used with less miles are going for high 50s. Sorry, you aren't getting your 20k back in mods. Better to just sell the mods at this...

Re: 2015 Summit Platinum

That's a very similar interior to my old BMW, except only the seats, door panel inserts and center console were brown and the rest was black. I'd rather have the dash black honestly.

And I...

Re: Who's 2014? 22" SRT reps, GTHaus, BlackOps lip...

Seems like a great price to me. 18k miles isn't a ton and the thing is selling for $10k less than new with mods. I really need to move into a cheaper place so I can afford one of these bad boys.

Re: Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Hellcat...

Dude, that engine has like 400 lb-ft of torque at 1500 rpm. That's the good thing about a positive displacement blower, torque is instant and stays flat basically across the rev range.

Re: DC metro area group buy

Ha yeah, I was just at Koons. They have no 2015's in stock yet, and one salesman told me they are still waiting on their last shipment of 2014's.

I drove a diesel limited model, pretty nice but...

Re: Livernois's Whipple supercharged 2014 SRT Jeep

Looks badass. I love that they have a Mopar orange option too haha. I'm not a big mopar guy, just like jeeps and love orange.

It appears you guys may have also confirmed the Hellcat engine...

Re: Livernois's Whipple supercharged 2014 SRT Jeep

Holy hell, that power/tq would be a beast to daily drive. Definitely keeping an eye on this thread for details. Any better pics of the engine bay? I've only had vortech's on my cars, but I love...

Re: fox shocks on wj

Are you talking about the Fox/BDS shocks? I have them with OME 3" springs and they seem to be a tad stiff. Although, I haven't felt the Bilstein 5100's, so the only thing I have to compare is the...

Re: My 99 WJ...finished fat bobs, r1, and wheels/tires

Yeah, that lift looks like at least 4", maybe more. Your whole suspension is out of whack and you probably aren't getting much help from the sway bars. Not to mention your front axle is most likely...

Re: Still moaning a bit !!!!!

Yup, '04 Overland. Maybe the stock fluid is worn out by now or a dumb dealership changed it with the wrong stuff since it was new, but it's definitely not quiet when turning. I test drove an '02...

Re: Still moaning a bit !!!!!

I need to change fluids in my TC and diffs as well because I'm having the same issue. Lots of groaning and some shuddering when I'm taking tight turns in my parking garage. Just bought the Jeep...

Re: 3/4" or 2" lift questions

I'd just run 1" spacers if you want a bit more room for tires. If you want 2" more, go with a set of 3" springs to replace your stockers.
