Thanks for the encouragement but while I was inspecting the differential carrier I noticed the bushings were showing their age (140k miles) and so I decided to replace all three while the Jeep is out...

I have the 4.7L but I used the bosch 4-prong plugs. I saw a notable increase in MPG and throttle response over OEM but they also hadn't been changed in a long, long time.

I agree. I have the 4.7L because I couldn't afford the Hemi upgrade and I absolutely refused to get a 3.7L. It just didn't have enough throat or "umph".
